As the hands move left and the weight begins to shift forward, the hands move to cradle a ball (Figure 2) and are held that way until they reach the halfway point in the circle. Then we let go of the ball and the hands flatten to complete the circle.

We must remember to straighten the right knee and allow the right heel to lift slightly as the weight shifts forward and to raise the left toes as the weight shifts backward.

 

 


After doing nine or 18 circles (holding the ball until the halfway point and then fully releasing it), we step back so the feet are together and we lower the hands to a graceful close (Figures 9-11) and relax in this position for four to five seconds.
